* go to movie: 看电影, 等于to see a movie. 电影的词有三个: film, movie and picture. 马上记住好吗?

　　* St Valentine"s Day: 情人节在英语里叫"St Valentine"s Day",咱们中国人有直接翻译成"圣瓦伦丁节",但是"情人节"这样的翻译已经被大众广泛接受. 关于情人节,有好多传说, 但是安迪老师还是比较相信这个: 这个节日是纪念一个叫瓦伦丁的基督教殉难者，他因为反抗罗马统治者对基督教徒的迫害，被捕入狱，并在公元270年2月14日被处死刑，行刑前，瓦伦丁曾给典狱长的女儿写了一封信，表明了自己光明磊落的心迹和对她的一片情怀。自此以后，基督教便把2月14日定为“情人节”。

　　* come up: 马上来临.
　　* perfect: 完美. 一句成语说得好: Practice makes perfect!(熟能生巧.) 我们如果每天用功, 一定有一天你会perfect滴! 今天你完美了吗?
　　* gift: 礼物, 天赋. 如:
　　1. I bet he"s buying chocolate for his girlfriend as a gift.(我打赌他一定在买巧克力作为给他女友的礼物.)
　　2. He has a gift for learning foreign languages.他有学习外语的天赋.)

　　* diamond ring: 钻戒, 常用的词组还有: a diamond bracelet:钻石手镯, diamond jewelry:钻石珠宝.

　　* gf: 是girlfriend的缩写, bf就是boyfriend, 这种写法在网上越来越流行.
　　* mean: 就是"意思", 不过是在动词里, 在形容词里, mean可不是好东西,它有小气的, 吝啬的, 甚至还有卑鄙的意思. 如: He is so mean, he never buy his girlfriend anything.(他太小气了, 从来不给他的女友买任何东东.) 关于mean还有一句常用的句子要记住, 这就是: I mean it. 如果明天Linda你问你的男友: do you really love me?你男朋友一定会说: I mean it.(我是认真的.)

　　* anyway; 是一个很重要的副词, 意思是无论如何, 无论怎样, 一般放在句首或者句尾.
　　* rule: 名词: 规矩, 规则. 动词: 统治
　　1.The English group got many rules.(这个英语群有很多规矩.)
　　2.The Republicans rule the country again.(共和党人又控制了这个国家.)
　　* with和without: 都是非常重要的介词, with的意思特别多, 需要在平时的学习中不断加以积累. with这里是有的意思, without是没有的意思.爱尔兰著名乐队U2曾经唱过一首曲子叫"With or without you"
