　　天气终于转凉了点, 安迪在遥远的北方向同学们致意! 现在是凌晨, 秋虫还在说着情话. 看到天涯的同志们, 这么努力在学习英语, 安迪非常感动中.看到同学们积极向上的人生, 自己觉得也挺开心.每天一定要问自己: 今天我英语了吗? 今天我安迪了吗? 今天我天涯了吗? 同学们, 我们从2007年1月1日开始, 在英语群里都得用英语唠嗑了, 好不好? 有没有信心? bobo, 你像战士一样回答: 有!!!!!

　　* what"s going down: 等于what are you doing?
　　* flick: movie, vid, film

　　* dweeb: bookworm=nerd=书呆子, 就是智商超过他体重的人.
　　* druggie: 丨毒丨品贩子, 等于drug dealer, madhatter,关于丨毒丨品的词汇有很多俚语, 主要的有: cocaine, slab, snow, bammer, bonic,
　　brown, bud, buddha, cannabis, cheeba, chronic, dank, doubage, ganja, grass, green, groove weed, hash, herb, home-grown, ill, Indo, iszm, Lebanon, Mary Jane, maui, method, pot, sess, shake, shit, skunk, stress, tabacci, Thai, tical, wacky, and weed.
　　* tough: 硬的, 坚强的. 如: Andy isa tough guy. 咱们以后不再掉鳄鱼眼泪.
　　* cop: 丨警丨察, 南国叫条子, 江南一带也叫烂眼. 因为美国丨警丨察以前的制服纽扣是铜做的, 铜的英语是copper, 后来简称cop.

　　* title: 题目, 这里是片名.
　　* be immersed in: 沉湎, 陷入. 如: I can"t immersed in writing my blog cos there are so many people chatting with me on msn.(我不能集中精力写我的博客, 因为太多的人和我在msn上聊天.) 这里you are immersed in做定语从句.
　　* main character: 主要演员, 但是主角我们用leading role. character还有性格的意思.
　　* jazz: 爵士乐来自美国New Orleans, 安迪学英语的时候, 总喜欢听VOA深夜的jazz music, 让我了解了不少美国的爵士文化. 现在不知道VOA还有没有依然保留这档节目. 发源于美国的还有country music, 乡村音乐, 代表歌手John Denver, Kenny Rodges. Dolly Parton等等.
　　* listen to: 别忘记小小的to, 因为listen是一个不及物动词.

　　(本课高二程度以上)
　　同学们有没有激情生活呢? 多多找些英语材料来朗读, 不断矫正自己的发音. 对着镜子训练自己吧. 难以想象英语学了20年, 老外听不懂你在说些什么. 所以, 好的发音是必须的. 如果你感觉发音依然不行, 多多看美国的电影, 一遍遍反复看. 另外学唱英语歌曲也是一个很好的方法. 许多网友问我, 怎么老外的发音和我老师教的不一样啊? 那是你老师错, 呵呵. 摒弃你家乡的口音, 像鹦鹉一样模仿! 不怕难为情, 大声的读出来, 因为你心中现在有一个目标: 那就是英语讲得和老外一样. 看我们中国人多么聪明!

　　今天我们学些俚语句子, 马上掌握.
　　1.He is an apple-head man.
　　他是一个笨笨的人.
　　apple: 苹果. 但是Adam"s apple: 男人的喉结, big apple指的是纽约. apple of one"s eye: 掌上明珠

　　2.Why all group members button their lips?
　　为什么群内的成员都不说话呢?
　　button这里就是seal, fasten了, 做动词. 有时候我们用button up, 意思就是keep in silent. 来马上到群里用上这句话.
　　belly button: 词面上的意思是肚子的纽扣, 但是你猜猜看是肚子上什么东东呢?
　　3. Learning English is not an easy digging.
　　学习英语不是轻而易举的.

　　an easy digging: 轻而易举. dig有挖掘的意思, 但是在俚语里,它还有喜欢, 爱上, 明白的意思, 如:
　　I bet he really digs Alice. (我敢打赌他一定喜欢上了爱丽丝.)
　　Do you dig Andy"s texts? (你能理解安迪的课文吗?)
　　4. It"s so hot today like dog days.
　　今天好热啊, 像三伏天似的.
　　在我们中文的成语里, 狗狗好像很委屈, 几乎都是鄙意的, 如狗仗人势, 帮狗吃食,打鸡骂狗,狗盗鸡鸣,猪狗不如等等. 不过在英语里却不一定表示坏的. 如:
　　1) He is a top dog: 他是头儿.

　　2) Andy is a lucky dog: 安迪是一个幸运儿.
　　3) Andy loves to eat hot dog: 安迪喜欢吃热狗.
　　4) It rains in cats and dogs: 雨下得好大啊.(不过rain in cats and dogs美国人已经很少用了, 觉得好像是莎士比亚时代的英语了.)
　　如果安迪在中国问候波波:喂喂, 狗, 好久不见了. 波波马上会扇我三巴掌. 但是在美国如果你用: hey, dog, long time no see. 你会听到微笑的回答.
　　5. I lost my job and my girlfriend dumped me.

　　我丢了工作，我的女朋友也把我甩了.
　　dump这个单词比较常用, 它的愿意是倾倒. 但是它引申出很多意思. 我就用例句来说明.
