　　A foreigner wants to buy a movie ticket in Shanghai, so he lined up behind a high school student.
　　The salesgirl in box office doesn’t understand English, so she told the student: “ We don’t have tickets available. Tell him, if he really wants to see, he might stand to see.”
　　The student then translated it for that foreigner: “ No seat, you see no see? If see, stand see.”

　　The foreigner puzzled: “ Sorry, I don’t understand your English.”
　　The student told salesgirl then: “ He said he can’t speak English.”
　　一个老外在上海要买一张电影票, 他排在一个中学生后面.
　　票房女售票员不懂英语, 于是她告诉中学生:"票都已经售完了, 告诉老外, 如果他真的想看, 他可以站着看."

　　* foreigner: 外国人, 现在戏称老外, 许多同学老是把这个单词拼错, Bobo, 你会拼错吗? 下面这些也一起来记住:
　　foreign friends: 外国朋友
　　foreign currency: 外币

　　foreign trade: 外贸
　　foreign customs: 外国风俗

　　foreign accent: 外国口音
　　* movie ticket: 电影票, 还有二个词可以表示电影: film and picture
　　* Shanghai: 华东最重要的城市. shanghai是诱骗的意思, 注意s是小写的. 如:

　　* available: 有空的, 有用的, 有卖的, 有货的. e.g:
　　1> Anyone available? 有人有空吗?(波波, 你可以在聊天室马上使用.)
　　2> The Longman Dictionary is available in that foreign language bookstore. 朗曼词典在那家外语书店有售.
　　* tell him: 告诉他, 在口语里, 经常念成tell’im.

　　* might: may的过去式, 使说话口气礼貌.
　　* translate: 翻译, 名词是translation, 词组: translate...into... 把...翻译成...
　　* puzzle: 迷惑. 如:
　　Why she doesn’t want to learn English? That really puzzles me much! 为什么她不想学英语, 这真让我不解.
