　　* 15th Asian Games: 15后面加一个小小的th, 表示序数词, 中文加一个"第"字. game后面要加s, 因为有很多项目比赛, 波波, 你最喜欢什么项目?
　　* kick off: 开始, 任何大型比赛和球类比赛的开始都可以用这个, 等于begin, start.
　　* opening ceremony: 开幕式, 那么"闭幕式"怎么说呢? 对, closing ceremony.
　　* amazing: 很好, 很棒, 等于fantastic, great, awesome, cool, 来, 马上2分钟记住这些同义词. 闭上眼睛记忆, 一方面保护视力, 一方面锻炼你的记忆力.
　　* horseman: 骑马人. 那么postman, milkman, waterman什么意思呢? 考考波波.
　　* ignite: 点火, 引申意思"使人激动", 如: His speech on success ignited me.(他关于成功的演讲让我激动.)
　　* torch: 火炬.
　　* impressive: 令人印象深刻.

　　* I can’t agree with you more: 非常同意. 注意后面有一个more.
　　* Olympic Games: 奥运会, 还可以写成Olympics, 要加s哦. 马上要在我们家门口举办, 所以一定要学会拼写olympic.
　　* dancer: 舞者, 舞蹈演员. 很多动词后面有一个后缀"-er", 就变成了某种类型的人和物体, 请比较singer,worker, farmer, writer, duster, washer等等. 现在该是大规模记忆单词的时候了.
　　* Kazakhstan: 哈萨克斯坦. 首都: 阿斯塔纳 (Astana), 人口大约1500万.
　　* India: 印度. 人口仅次于中国, 首都: 新德里(New Dehli). 印度是一个美丽的国家, 波波, 我们什么时候到这个神秘的国家去旅游一下?

　　* Thailand: 泰国. 首都: 曼谷(Bangkok). 波波, 我第一次看见泰国语言的时候, 以为是蚯蚓呢.
　　* Indonesia: 印度尼西亚. 首都: 雅加达(Jakarta) Bali(巴里岛)是印尼很漂亮的一个岛屿, 这个岛已经有2000多年的历史了.
　　* opera: 歌剧. 中国所有的剧种都可以用opera, 如京剧: Beijing Opera, 越剧: Shaoxing Opera.
　　* geisha: 艺妓, 中国女星章子怡曾经主演过《艺妓回忆录》(Memoirs of a Geisha).
　　* colorful clothes: 五颜六色的服饰.

　　* wear: 穿, 穿着. 如: kid wear: 儿童服装, sports wear: 运动服.
　　* costly: 昂贵的. 大多数ly结尾表示副词, 但是也有个别是形容词, 如costly, friendly.
　　* Qatar: 卡塔尔, 首都就是现在举行亚运会的多哈(Doha). Doha虾米意思啊? 就是让你多多笑笑的意思. 哈哈.
　　* bill: 账单, 做动词支付. foot bill: 埋单.
　　* eclipse: 日蚀, 做动词: 使...黯然失色.
